‘‘I've been playing for a number of years and decided to go back to lessons. Deke's lessons have completely changed my approach to the instrument from the ground up, musically, technically and tonally! Every lesson I walk away with a "light bulb moment". First class well explained lessons, and best investment I ever made’’
Stuart Coleman - Airdrie

’’I came late to the saxophone at 50 and couldn’t read music. Now 5 years on I am reading music, playing songs I really like with backing tracks, starting to improvise and most of all, really enjoying it. Learning lots without feeling you are in a classroom is great and totally recommend giving it a go with Deke’’
Aidan O’Donoghue, aged 54 and 11/12ths - Glasgow

’’Deke is a brilliant teacher: he is a talented saxophonist and can play in all different styles - classical, jazz, rock, pop and blues. His experience as a session man, touring musician and band leader means you can learn not just how to play the sax, but also how you can then prepare for your own performance. He is very patient, constructive in his feedback and always really helpful when you hit a problem. Great teacher’’
John Munro - Huddersfield

’’I have been taking alto sax lessons for two years now. The lessons are great fun and very effective. Deke is always focussed on the needs of his pupils and apart from being a great player is also a great teacher who really knows how to get the message across. Very knowledgable on all things saxophone. Highly recommended’’
Andrew Lyons - Glasgow

"I approached Deke some years ago as a limited experience tenor saxophone player and through his teaching my playing has improved beyond all my expectations and he has opened up to me the wonderful world of making music. If you want to learn how to master the saxophone then contact Deke. He is friendly, approachable - a man of infinite patience and a superlative teacher"
Robin Aitken - Kirkcudbright
